Sian’s Cooking began life as a small take-out cookshop in Harrisburg, PA more than a decade ago. The shop has since closed but, Sian and team continue catering for private, corporate and government clients across the USA. Sian published her first cookbook Nyammings: 88 Authentic Caribbean Recipes in late 2014 following an appearance on the Food Network show Cutthroat Kitchen. She has also claimed a PA Farm Show ribbon for her pineapple upside-down cake, been a featured Grace Foods Chef. In 2016 Sian conceptualized and penned the weekly Miami Times lifestyle column ‘Cooking With Chef Sian’ the inspiration for her foodventure articles of the same name.
Over the years Sian has developed a reputation as a go-to consultant on authentic Caribbean cuisine. In addition to product research and recipe development for various clients Sian has exhibited for renowned brands like Sysco and hosted dozens of events for Grace Foods and other Caribbean brands.
